Update metatext

Fizz+Ginger lets you edit the metatext on HubSpot CMS posts and pages. This is important for SEO.

The app synchronises changes immediately when you click Save but it scans pages and posts automatically on a schedule - usually every 30 minutes or so. The time of the most recent scan is shown at the top of the page.

1. Select Posts or Pages on the metatext menu
2. We recommend selecting Published on the By State menu, unless you specifically want to edit unpublished items
3. Use the By type filter menu to focus on problem areas. We recommend starting with pages that have missing meta descriptions. Add them first. Then work through meta texts that are too long or too short.
4. Alternatively, if you trying to edit the meta text for a specific post or posts with a specific keyword (for example to ensure SEO keywords or topic words are included in all pages related to a specific topic) you can use the search box to find specific items.
5. Use the Order by filter menu to set the order of the listings on the page. Typically, you would start with the most recently published posts.

For each entry, you can: 

• View the post by clicking View
• Make changes directly into the text boxes
• Save them to HubSpot (instantly via the API) by clicking Save
